Day 01: Home/ Trivandrum/ Kanyakumari

Arrive Trivandrum railway station. You will be met on arrival and will be driven straight to Kanyakumari (100kms) On arrival at Kanyakumari check-in at your hotel. The major attractions are the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple, located on the shore, is a Shakti Peetha dedicated to a manifestation of Parvati, the virgin goddess who did penance to obtain Lord Shiva’s hand in marriage. The temple and the adjoining ghat, situated overlooking the shore, attract tourists from all over the world. The sparkling diamond nose-ring of the deity is said to be visible even from the sea.
Two rocks reach out of the ocean, southeast of the Kumari Amman temple. At one of these, Sri Padaparai, which is said to bear the footprints of the virgin goddess. Swami Vivekananda is said to have sat in deep meditation. It is also the site of Vivekananda Rock Memorial built in 1970. There is a dhyana mandapam, an area for meditation. Ferry services are available to reach the memorial

On an adjacent rock is the towering statue of the great Tamil poet-saint Tiruvalluvar. It is 133 ft tall and one of the biggest statues in Asia

The Gandhi Memorial has been built on the spot where the urn containing the Mahatma’s ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion. Resembling central Indian Hindu temples in form, the memorial was designed so that on Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, October 2, the first rays of the sun fall on the exact place where his ashes were kept

Day 02: Kanyakumari/ Kovalam

Departing Kanyakumari, you journey to Kovalam a favorite haunt of visitors since the 1930s, Kovalam consists of three successive crescent beaches. Sun bathing, Swimming, Ayurvedic Rejuvenation, Yoga and meditation, Herbal body toning massages, Special Cultural Programs, Catamaran cruising; the possibilities are many. The Kovalam lighthouse beach is where most visitors spend their time.

Day 03: Kovalam

After breakfast visit to Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, -Dedicated to Lord Vishnu- in
Ananthashayanam posture- on the serpent Adisheshan. The temple is always in the limelight for the secret
vault that no human can ever open easily. The whole atmosphere is just an amazing feel. After the
darshana, will visit to the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, one of the oldest of its kind in India (19 th century)-
spread over 55 acres. A perfect place to visit with kids. From birds to animals, turtles to snakes there are
many more to see and enjoy. After having your lunch, will proceed to Shanghumukham Beach, one of
the most famous beaches in Trivandrum- have all the mixtures to have a splendid and calm evening.
Return back after sightseeing. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort


Day 04: Kovalam

After breakfast proceed Kovalam sightseeing, it includes Vizhinjam Village – which has a lot to
say about the history. There are many place to visit here like the vizhinjam fishing harbor, Rock-cut
temple in Vizhinjam, Mosque, and so on.. After that visit the Kovalam Beach itself to relax ourselves
and to have a relief from the tiresome journey. Many adventurous activities and leisure activities are
waiting there for you. Lots of foreigners come here for chilling. This is one of the finest and beautiful
beaches to relax. After lunch will visit the Lighthouse. It is 30-35 metres long and painted in red and
white. There are 142 spiral stairs to reach the top observational platform-visitors climb these step and
have the most beautifuyl sight from there. From there our next sightseeing point is Lighthouse Beach,
named because the light house is at the southern end of Kovalam beach. Its just similar to other beaches in
Kovalam and one of the most preferred honeymoon destinations.

Day 05: Kovalam/Alleppey

After breakfast at the Resort, drive to Alleppey or Kumarakom. On arrival transfer to the
Kerala Traditional House Boat.(Kettuvallam) The houseboats of Kerala offer exquisite holidays
experiences. Every Kettuvallam (house boat) has a drawing cum dining room; a bath attached
bedroom, sit-out, sundeck and kitchenette. The water-web slowly open ups at its secrets to you,
lush paddy field, pregnant palms, singing Siberian ducks. This will be your memorable
experience. House boat will cruise through the Vembanad Lake and canals to Alleppey. Visit
includes Pathiramanal, Champakulam Church, R & L Block Kayal etc.

Day 06: Alleppey - Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Reach Thekkady by afternoon. After Lunch, have
boating session in Periyar Lake and enjoy the beauty surrounded by. If lucky enough, one can
see animals with their groups which will give each traveller a thrilling experience.
Return back to the hotel / resort. Overnight stay.


Day 07: Thekkady - Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar. On the route visit one of the most enchanting Waterfalls in
Kerala-Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the Kochi-Madhurai Highway (NH 49). After reaching Munnar have
a freshup and then let’s go to Blossom Hydel Park-just 3 kms away from Munnar Town. Best place for
nature lovers- a colorful park with rich beautiful flowers and greenery. It offers adventure trails, boating,
nature walks, bird watching with facilities for cycling, roller Skating, badminton as well.
Return back to the hotel / resort. Overnight stay.


Day 08: Munnar

After breakfast visit Mattupetty Dam, a storage concrete gravity dam-one of the most preferred
picnic spot in Munnar which attracts tourists who prefer trekking and boating. After that visiting some of
the attractive spots nearby will be a great option i.e.,Kundala Lake, known for its beautiful view and
boating, Echo Point, the highest point (1700m) in Munnar,which gives a visual treat with echo
phenomena that the peak produces. As the name suggests call out from the high altitudes and you can
hear your own voice which comes like a boomerang. Isn’t it funny…After Lunch, a view of the Top
Station and have a photo session in the Photo Point.
Return back to the hotel / resort. Overnight stay.


Day 09: Munnar/Cochin

After breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival check in at the Hotel. After fresh up proceed to
sightseeing. Visit includes Fort Kochi- a different view-a different culture-takes you to a different time
period. Fort Kochi is one of the main tourist attractions in kochi. It has many things to attract the tourists-
The beach (Known to be the Queen of Arabian Sea), Mattanchery Palace, The local stalls in the streets

of Fort Kochi, handicraft shops, markets with fresh fishes are caught and sold, Art galleries, Churches,
Kathakali Performances..etc.
Return back after sightseeing. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort
